Megan Adkins Joins Circeo Fannin, Appointed as Associate Attorney – Circeo Law Firm

Circeo Fannin, P.S.C., a civil litigation law firm based in Lexington, today announced that Megan Adkins has joined the firm and was appointed as an associate attorney.

“We are excited to have someone with Megan’s experience and passion on our team,” said Lisa Circeo, founding partner at Circeo Fannin. “It’s an honor to have her represent the firm, and we look forward to her success on behalf of our clients.”

As an associate attorney, Adkins oversees the intake of new clients/cases. She also assists with the firm’s pre-litigation responsibilities, as well as all facets of cases that are in litigation. Adkins has previous experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants, across the state of Kentucky, in cases including negligent security, wrongful death, slip and falls, trucking accidents, car accidents, wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, negligent hiring and retention, and a variety of other practice areas.

Adkins received her Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2014. During law school, she was president of the Women’s Law Caucus, Vice Justice of the UK College of Law’s Phi Alpha Delta chapter, Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law (KJEANRL) staff member, Trial Advocacy Board member, and was selected as an inaugural member of the Central Kentucky American Inn of Court. She received the Best Appellate Brief Award for the Swinford Writing Club and was honored to host U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagen during her visit to the UK College of Law in the fall of 2013.

In 2019, Adkins received Martindale Hubbell’s Silver Client Champion award for excellent service. She has also been recognized by Legal Aid of the Bluegrass for her continued dedication to providing high-quality legal assistance to low-income community members. Adkins was licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky in 2014.
